Dear Muse,

Thank you for being here.  I don’t have a lot to say, but I will start with gratitude because I’m glad you’re in my life. 

I appreciate your inspiration, not only to write, but also to write twice a day. 

I appreciate that you always give me something to say if I just show up.

I appreciate that you sometimes make me wait for a while before you give me something to say.

I appreciate that you are teaching me perseverance, persistence and consistency.

I appreciate that you are willing to show up for anyone who is willing to show up for you.

I appreciate the love you have for me. 

I appreciate how special you make me feel.

I appreciate that this is fun, most of the time, even when it isn’t.

I appreciate all the things you’ve taught me, like determination and vigilance and revisiting my goals regularly.

I appreciate that you know my limits and continue to stretch me past them.

I appreciate the house on the beach that we will be in one day and where I can spend a lot more time with you.

I appreciate that my blogs can be as long or as short as you like.

I appreciate that you keep telling me to Get Started and to Keep Going.

I appreciate that you help me to do both.
