Ten Favorite Comic Book Bad Guys

Recently I wrote a blog listing ten of my favorite superhero costumes.  Now it's the bad guys' turn.  Enjoy!

Klaw - (Marvel), the master of sound.  He's fought just about everyone,
but he has a special hatred for the Black Panther , the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.

Whirlwind (Marvel)  He's fought the Avengers.  This is not his current costumes, but it's the one I like the best.
The helmet makes his outfit unique.

Captain Cold (DC Comics)  I don't know why, but I've always loved that parka and the shades.  His archenemy, the Flash, may not appreciate him as much.

The Amazing Spider-Man #154 Cover

The Sandman - His original "costume," the one seen in Spider-Man 3 was a pair of brown pants and a green, striped, long-sleeve shirt.  Artist Jack Kirby improved upon that look greatly, to say the least.

Mysterio!  (Marvel Comics)  Fishbowl head.  Eyes on his chest.  What's not to like?  I love this costume!!!!

Riddle me this:  Why do I like this one?  I have no idea, but I do.  (DC Comics)

The Wizard (Marvel Comics) - Nobody could do headgear like Jack Kirby.

Gemini (Marvel Comics)  He was part of a 12-person crime cartel called, what else, the Zodiac.  He was one of the few of that group that got his own individual appearances.  This character may have been a bit of swipe from the original Daredevil of the 1940's.

The Living Laser (Marvel)  As with many characters, he's gone through costume changes.  Now he just looks like a big blob of light.  This costume is much cooler!

Dr. Doom! (Marvel)  There are comics I have bought simply because he was on the cover.  It has been a rite of passage for almost every Marvel superhero to fight him.  Solarman, whose book lasted two issues, even fought him.
