Making Love

“The true inner meaning of success is to be successful at the enterprise of living.  A long period of peace, joy, and happiness on this plane may be termed success.”

Joseph Murphy, Ph.D.,  D.D. – The Power of Your Subconscious

“Good people strengthen themselves ceaselessly.”

Confuscious

“I tell you, there is no greater love than this: that a man lay down his life for his friend.”

Jesus

I like making love.  I really do.  It relaxes me.  It dissolves my fears.  It makes me smile.  It makes life good.   It reminds me of why I am here.  When I am making love, I’m completely in the moment.  I’m present.  I like to make love every chance I get.  I am here to make love.  We all are.  When people are making love, they don’t usually have the time or inclination to do anything else.  Who would want to do anything else?  What is better than making love?
No, I’m not talking about sex. I’ve never understood why sex is called making love.  Sex is not making love. Sex is expressing love that is (hopefully) already present.  Making love is a higher calling and if it’s not better than sex, it’s close.
What, then, is making love if it’s not sex?  Another question is, Can love be made?  Can it be created?  If love is a form of energy, and if energy can’t be created, as the laws of the physics say, then is making love even possible?  Is creating love possible?  Yes.  Love exists as a form of energy that is available to all of us, but we must each, in our own unique way, manifest the love that is within each of us.  When we make love, we create something new, something different, something that wasn’t there before
How then do we make love?
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I know how I make love.
I make love when I smile sincerely at people.
I make love when I am kind, patient, and positive.
I make love when I am in my Purpose.
I make love when I write.
I make love when I study.
I make love when I’m present with the people I’m with.
I make love when I listen.
I make love when I laugh with a friend.
I make love when I make plans to build a better life for those I love.
I make love when I am responsible with my money.
I make love when I keep my world in order.
I make love when I am generous.
I make love when I let go of the pain of the past and when I forgive.
I make love when I take care of myself.
I make love when I protect the weak, the helpless and the innocent.
There are opportunities every day and everywhere to make love.  Love is unlimited in its potential and creativity.  It’s never the same twice.  It’s always different, it’s always exciting and it’s always new.  Hate, injustice, and evil are none of those things.  They are boring and banal and the same thing every time.  Evil may be horrific, but it’s not worth studying except to know how to avoid it in the future.  People who think evil can be creative don’t realize that it always leads to the same tiny, little pit.  Love leads to the expansive, endless, eternal heavens.
I love making love with my Muse the most.  She is the source of my creativity and when we make love, we make the world a better place.  Everything is the way it should be, or at least it is getting there.
I also make love when I Get Started and Keep Going.  That’s why I like to make love every day.
