Things to do when I don’t feel like
doing my work:
- Go to bed.
- Do some other work.
- Clean my place.
- Exercise.
- Do my work anyway.
- Think about how good I will feel after I finish my work.
- Do part of the work and save the rest for later.
- Remind myself that the feeling to do one’s work often comes after one begins, not before.
- Talk to someone who will inspire me.
- Read something that will inspire me.
- Break the work into parts.
- Set a deadline and then rush to meet it.
- Do my work anyway.
- Journal about my feelings regarding my reluctance to work.
- Pray.
- Put on some music to put you in the mood.
- Create a reward for myself when the work is done.
- Turn off the TV.
- Look at previous work to build on, repeat, or avoid.
- Work as if I were the best there is at what I do.
- Work as if my life depended on it. Sometimes it does.
- Do my work anyway.
- Do my work anyway.
- Do my work anyway.
- Get Started.
- Keep Going.
- Do my work anyway.
